We enter the church family and become children of God, with the Sacrament of Baptism.

Those desiring Baptism for their child must be participating and registered members of

Immaculate Conception Church. Parents are required to meet with a Baptismal Team Member for two interviews and upon approval of the Pastor the Baptism will be scheduled.

Baptism Classes are offered on Saturdays by appointments only (10:30 am to 1:00 pm), in the RCIA Office. Parents may bring their child. Parents are required to attend both classes before the Baptism. Paperwork must be completed one week before the first class meets.

Baptism interviews (1st & 2nd) and for anyone interested in RCIA or sacramental issues. These classes are 1 to 1 1/2 hour for initial baptism appointments and a 1/2 hour for 2nd baptism interview. Baptismal classes are held on the 1st Thursday of each month in classroom 1 from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Special Baptisms (not on the scheduled dates) are reserved for grave pastoral reasons

such as a child in danger of death or for a child whose parent is in the military and is being deployed.

Children over the age of 6 must attend RCIA for children.  The RCIA classes for children are held on Saturdays from 9 am - 10:15 am. The RCIA initial interview is scheduled for an hour.  Baptisms will be held on Easter Vigil Mass.
