As Marriage is a call from God and a response from two people, a man and a woman,

who promise to build, with the help of divine grace, a lifelong, intimate and Sacramental

partnership of love and life. Immaculate Conception Church endeavors to support the couple with marriage preparation and an inspirational ceremony; one that is spiritual, beautiful and memorable.

The requirements of the Catholic Church, the Diocese of Honolulu and Immaculate Conception Church need to be followed.  Please view the guidelines of the Diocese of Honolulu.

The Catholic priest who assists the couple in marriage preparation will be responsible

for all pre-marriage paperwork.

Weddings may be held Monday through Saturdays (except Holy Saturday) and are scheduled between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. Weddings are not permitted on Sundays.

Please contact the church office at least six (6) months prior to the date of your wedding

to schedule an initial meeting with our pastor, Father Nick Brown. He will share with you

the requirements to be met and the paperwork required. The phone number for the

received by Immaculate Conception Church at least two months before the ceremony.

The priest/deacon will explain the options and provide suggestions for the

prayers and the readings for the ceremony. Please contact them through the church office

at (808) 681-3701 for more information. They will schedule the wedding rehearsal which

is usually done before 3 pm or after 6 pm. It is very important that the rehearsal start on 

time, as it takes approximately one hour. The complete wedding party including parents,

readers, ushers and sponsors should attend.

The music selected for you wedding should reflect and enhance the religious 

celebration of the service; creating an atmosphere of prayer and joy. Our Music Director

will work with you and musicians and cantors are available for hire..
