Singles for Christ National Conference
August 4-6, 2017

Immaculate Conception's CFC-Singles for Christ enjoyed a weekend devoted to personal growth at the national conference held in Ontario, California from Aug. 4 to Aug. 6. They were blessed with the opportunity to experience talks given by speakers of varying backgrounds and learned how to 'travel light', 'spiritual workout', 'fight for life', 'embrace your calling', 'parish kickstarter', and 'love thy neighbor'. All while fellowshipping with friends first-made at home or new ones discovered at conference.
Talks, workshops, praise & worship, mass, and even a La La Land-esque banquet night provided for lots of fun, but most importantly, allowed for a Christ-centered time of reflection. SFC-Hawaii is excited to bring back all that they've learned so that we ALL may go All Out For Christ. 'We should be All Out for Christ, All Out for Faith, All Out for Church.

"Salt and Light" Retreat - June 2-4, 2017

We would like to thank the parish for your prayers and the Couples For Christ Family ministry in supporting the Singles for Christ Retreat. Praise God for the participants from ICC that transitioned from youth/campus ministry to Young Adult ministry. Their Christ centered weekend and Pentecost celebration equipped them to be Salt of the Earth and Light of the World! For more information about SFC Young Adult Ministry, visit the parish website.
What is SFC?
It is a Catholic Young Adult Ministry, under the umbrella of Couples for Christ, for unmarried men and women ages 18 - 39. It is aimed to provide a community for those who want to enrich their faith, discover one's vocation (Marriage, Religious or Single Blessedness LIfe), and building a Christ-centered society.
What does SFC meetings consist of?
A Christian Life Program that leads participants into a renewed understanding of God's call for them as Christians. Usually held once a week that consists of: teaching, group discussions, and fellowship with young adults in the parish and across the diocese.
How often will SFC meet?
SFC will usualy meet every Fridays at 6:30 p.m. in Classroom 1.

2017 Monthly Schedule of Activities
Singles For Christ Young Adult Ministry schedule will go as follows:
1st Friday - Household - prayer gathering/fellowship at a member's house (or at Immaculate Conception.
2nd Friday - Teaching from Singles for Christ manual.
3rd Friday - General Assembly (GA) - Family ministry gathering with Couples for Christ and Youth for Christ for testimonies and praise and worship. Fellowship will follow afterwards with all SFC members invited to attend Catholic Beer Club.
4th Friday - Bible Study.

August 11 - Teaching - Classroom 1
August 18 - Praise and Worship/Faith sharing General Assembly at Parish Hall
