CHILDREN AT IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH
KIDSWORD
Children from preschool to preteen who attend the 9:30 am Sunday Mass are invited to
hear scripture in a format they can understand. This is a year round ministry for the
children. Our children exit the church to celebrate the Word after the opening prayer and
return to church after the homily. KidsWord does not replace the formal religious

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM
Our Sunday program encourages children to develop a relationship with Christ by
sharing the Gospel and the Catholic Doctrine. The program is intended for children in
pre-kindergarten through 8th grade, who attend public or private, non-Catholic school.
All children are welcome. Instruction is at age appropriate levels including active
learning stations. Classes are held on Sunday morning beginning September - May, from
8:15 am - 9:15 am, in the classrooms, parish hall on the parish hall lanai. This is a checklist item if your child is enrolling for a sacrament program.

RCIA FOR CHILDREN
This is a set of classes for non baptized children ages 7 and above; or for baptized
children who have not had previous religious education. We encourage families to enroll
their children in these classes. The classes meet on Saturday mornings from 9 am - 10:15am
